Road Safety – Our Priority (Touring Club Malta)

Touring Club Malta has once more addressed the issue of road safety amongst children in schools. This time around the process was somewhat changed with a more hands-on approach with the children. When children have their school holidays, their objective is to enjoy themselves and, for some time, even forget about waking up early, putting on the school uniform, and heading to school. During the Easter holidays, we brought children back to school, with no uniforms, no schoolbooks, no homework, and only with one objective: to create a holiday atmosphere and learn about road safety and basic first response. 

Touring Club Malta also invited members from the Malta  Police force,  cyclists’ group,   staff from Malta Red Cross  and professionals from Transport Malta to make this exercise more interesting for the children who took a very active part in all the proceeding during this event.

Collaborating with other entities, exchanging knowledge and experience, and presenting high‑quality initiatives not only strengthens our work but also generates genuine public interest and engagement.
