Aims & Objectives of Touring Club Malta

 * To promote and strengthen public enthusiasm for travel —locally and internationally — using cars, motorhomes, caravans, motorcycles, and bicycles, while fostering appreciation of cultural heritage, responsible mobility, and enriching
leisure experiences.

*To offer guidance, support, and practical assistance to individuals planning motoring holidays within Malta or overseas, ensuring safe, enjoyable, and well‑informed travel experiences.

* To assist its members in undertaking overland tours abroad through the club’s affiliation with international organisations, including the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile) and the F.I.C.C. (Fédération Internationale de Camping, Caravanning et Autocaravaning).

* To organise motoring events in Malta and overseas, while also facilitating the participation of foreign entrants in locally organised activities.

* To promote local and cultural tourism, and to advance education and awareness in matters concerning road safety.

* To participate actively in the work of groups, government‑appointed councils, NGOs, and other bodies whose activities
relate to motoring, mobility, and road safety.  

 

Membership of the Club is open to all individuals and/or bodies that can contribute to the promotion and/or  implementation of the Club's aims and objectives.
